First opened in 1989 the Volcano at Mirage is a site to see. The attraction includes water, lighting and sound effect to heighten the experience. If you stand directly in front of the Mirage you feel the heat from the fire burst. The eruption schedule begins at 6:00 p.m. and continues on the hour until the last show at 11:00 p.m.
